Old Ferry Park was once owned and maintained by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers but due to budget cuts the park was closed. In the later part of 2016 to early 2017 the Corps offered to lease the park to the City of Conway, that transaction has been complete and the park is now open for the public to enjoy.
Folks would come here to picnic, fish, hold family reunions or to let the kids on the playground equipment, some just came to watch the Tugs boats lock through the Dam. Hopefully this great park will once again be enjoyed again.
Also on my recon to hide these caches there is a small Hiking trail, that will have a great view of the river in the fall.
I hope that you will not only enjoy searching for these caches but also enjoy the park.
