Mottarone - Lago Maggiore - Stresa
Partendo da Stresa si percorre la strada panoramica Borromea in direzione Mottarone. Oltre ad un panorama mozzafiato, il golfo e le isole sono sotto di noi, arrivati sulla sua vetta avremo una bellissima panoramica dato che la vista è a 360 gradi. Tutt’intorno è una sequenza di montagne della vicina Valle Ossola e di morbide colline , di pinete, di pascoli , di faggete oltre a numerose altre varietà di piante e fiori e la presenza di qualche fonte dislocata sulla strada. Il Mottarone è anche raggiungibile con la funivia che parte dal Lido di Stresa www.stresa-mottarone.it Meta ideale per gli amanti di pittura, trekking, mountain bike o per chi ama semplicemente la natura e la tranquillità, nella stagione invernale è invece frequentata da numerosi sciatori. Per salire sino alla vetta bisogna pagare un ticket di pedaggio di qualche euro, raggiungendolo invece dal Lago d' Orta questo pedaggio non sarà dovuto.
