Located 12758 feet above sea level high above the city of Quito on Mount Pichincha with spectacular views on a clear day.
The easiest way to get to the cache is by cable car on the "Teleferico" one of Quito´s newest tourist attractions. The cost is $6 but on a busy day I recommend the "express" fare of $8 to avoid the queue.
To find the cache does not involve going any higher and you will not get out of breath!
The cache is placed on public land and to reach it from the cable car side you will have to go through a large gate on the road.
If you have a 4x4 car it is possible to drive to the top and there is a place to park.

This is our first cache to be placed and I hope the start of many more in Ecuador and England.
The cache is a white plastic box with various items inside and a log book.
