Come on out and enjoy the day with us as we have this December Geo-Christmas Party here at the lovely Glenn Shoals Park.
We are planning a Poker Run within the park with some prizes for those with the highest hands. Never done a Poker Run well this is a fun activity the whole family can enjoy together. I will be placing a few containers within the park containing envelops with one card in each envelope. You can find as many as you want or all of them and take ONE card out of each container. You will bring the sealed envelopes back to the main pavilion UNOPENED and we will see what the cards say for you. If you find all of caches you will make your best hand. We will have prizes for the Top Three hands.
We will also be having a Geocaching White Elephant Gift Exchange. If you want to get in on the fun bring a Wrapped Gift say no more then up to $10.00. We will draw one name at a time out of the hat at a time and that person can select any of the gifts on the table. The next person can do the same or steal your gift. Rules will be explained before we start.
We will be doing POT LUCK this year so hoping everyone will bring their favorite warm / cold weather dish to share.
I will have all the plates, untensils, napkins, and cups...
So start thinking on what awesome home cooked or store bought dishes we can come up with.
We will also be treated to some Yummy Hot Chocolate made by our very own Funfinderone so you don't want to miss out on that.
Glenn Shoals has some wonderful trails to walk so bring your walking shoes with you. There is also a bunch of smileys within the park.
Don't forget to bring those travel bug and coins to share with everyone. If you have some to move on then I am sure some one can help with it's mission.
