Geocache Description:

The 3 storry appartment building with some businesses on the ground floor collapsed all of a sudden late in the evening January 25, 2007.

It was built late in the 19th century, probably renovated a couple of times since, survived two major wars. A modern house construction site is next to the collapse, it is unclear yet what caused the collapse, many tend to relate it to the new construction growing up in the vicinity. Luckily no human casulties occured, but dozens of people lost their shelter. Weird and scary.

Feel free to post new pictures as the scenery changes and new modern buildings grow up whilst old ones collapse. The initial pictures were taken early in February, 2007.

The cache is a nano. Hidden inside the window guard grid. It now resides five feet six AGL.

Hope no new collapses occur and the cache stays active for years.
