Smeti so iz različnih materialov, in tako se vsak material lahko različno predela ali uniči. Poskušali so se različni pristopi uničevanja. Na podlagi izkušenj, teorij in raziskav se je tako odkrilo, kaj deluje in kaj ne.
Seveda mi vsi vemo, da smeti ne sodijo v naravo, ampak v zabojnike. Ampak nimamo kaj, eni pač kljub vsemu ozaveščanju tega ne vedo. In tako smeti še vedno pristanejo v naravi.
Vendar se vsak, ki skrbno ločuje odpadke in jih ne meče v naravo, le vpraša, ali je v redu, da ločujemo, kaj se zgodi z odpadki, kako se jih predeluje, kolikokrat jih lahko predelamo itd.
No, čas je, da to odkrijemo.
Predviden potek eventa:
- 15:30 zbor na koordinatah, razdelitev dela in akcija
- 17:15 začnemo zaključevat pobiranje in gremo na Zbirni center Barje, kjer bomo odpadke ločili
- 18:00 možnost ogleda Regijskega centra za ravnanje z odpadki (RCERO)
Navodila:
- očistili bomo del Mestnega parka Rakova Jelša
- obvezna oprema: rokavice, obleka z dolgimi rokavi ali kombinezon, dolgi prsti, obutev naj bo delovna (priporočam škornje ali gojzdarje)
- teren je pester, saj so smeti v jarkih, v vodi, med travo, pod drevesi, v parku...
- vreče dobite na mestu eventa
- smeti bo kar nekaj, tako da bomo potrebovali kar nekaj prtljažnikov, v katere bomo naložili smeti in jih skupaj odpeljali v Zbirni center Barje. Zato prosim imejte prtljažnike prazne in predlagam da pokrite s kakšno podlogo, polivinilom ali pregrinjalom
- če kdo ne želi peljat v avtu odpadkov, lahko parkira na Park & Ride (P + R) parkirišču ali pride na event s kolesom/busom/peš. Prostora na mestu eventa je zelo malo in ga bomo potrebovali za avtomobile, ki bodo peljali odpadke
- po čiščenju se zapeljemo do Zbirnega centra Barje, kjer bomo presortirali odpadke
- kdor nato želi, lahko gre še na ogled RCERO, kjer bomo lahko videli, kaj se zgodi z odpadki, ko pridejo na "pravo mesto" (ogled je plačljiv... ampak za nas, ker bomo naredili dobro delo, bo ogled zastonj)

Of course, we all know that garbage does not belong in nature but in trash cans. But some people, despite all the awareness, still do not know that. And so trash still lands in the wild.
However, anyone who carefully separates waste, asks itself if it's okay to separate, what happens to waste, how it is recycled, how many times it can be reused, etc.
Well, it's time to figure it out.
Estimated scedule:
- 15:30 gathering, instructions and action
- 17:15 we will finish picking up and go to the Barje Collection Center, where we will sort of the waste
- 18:00 visit to the Regional Waste Management Center (RCERO)
Instructions:
- We will clean part of Rakov Jelsa City Park

- You will get the bags on event
- There will be a lot of garbage, so we will need quite a few trunks to load the garbage and take them together to the Barje Collection Center. So please keep your trunks free from luggage and I suggest you cover with some liner, polyvinyl or a blanket
- If anyone does not want to drive trash in the car, they can park at the Park & Ride (P + R) parking place or come on event with the bike / bus / walk. There is very little space at the event and we will need it for cars that can be loaded with trash
- After cleaning, we drive to the Barje Collection Center, where we will sort the trash
- Whoever wants, can go on a RCERO tour, where we will see what happens to the waste when they get to the "right place" (the tour has a fee ... but for us, because we will celan a nature, the tour will be free )
