Geocache Description:

There are two ways to this cache. You can take the harder route which is grade 3 terrain or the easier route which is grade 1.5 terrain.

The harder route starts at the Glen which is off St.Brides Hill. There is a small parking area at the start of the coastal path woodland walk.Simply follow the G.P.S. directions to the cache site. The easier route (which allows you to go crabbing) is along the Glen Beach on the harbour side. This walk can only be attempted at low tide but if you were to get cut off the coastal path will take you back to Saundersfoot so if your not fairly fit beware.

The cache is a 0.9 litre sandwich sized box with pencil and log book. There is also room for small swaps.

This cache was named after our border collie Meg. Since placing the cache she has sadly passed away so this is now in her memory. Very soon I will scatter her ashes into the stream near the cache at high tide so her spirit can carry out to sea, over the beach that she loved. RIP Meggy x

We scattered her ashes today 22/4/11 in the stream near the cache. So sad!
unfortunately cache had been muggled so we will replace soon.
