Geocache Description:





History

The church was founded in 1874. The original congregation was joined in 1980 by the Methodists from Terminus Road and Wick, and the Reformed Episcopalians from New Road.

Cemeteries

The church does not have a cemetery.




The original Manse (left on the photo) was flattened during a tip and run bombing by the Luftwaffe on the 9th of August 1942 , killing the Reverend Wilfred Leslie Hailstone (54) and his wife Hilda Clarice (49) , both buried at the Littlehampton Cemetery, the sad thing was that they escaped the Blitz in London a few months before

looking through the gate, you will see a stone on the left handside, laid by Samual Marley on the april ?th 1861 - minus the number of spikes of the right hand gate = A

Housenumber on right hand * 3 side minus 1= B

Month + housenumber = C

Month + 1 = D

When you look to the left on the info board , you find the time of the service on Sunday morning, this is 1?.30 am = E

F = How many spikes has the fence near on the left hand side minus 1= F

Now you have the information to solve the location of the cache
