Geocache Description:


Visit the large Seabird Colony at Bempton Cliffs in East Yorkshire.

Bempton Cliffs is an RSPB Nature Reserve where you can see one of the largest seabird colonies in the country. Over 3500 pairs of Gannets nest on the cliffs at Bempton. You may also see Puffins, Guillemots, Kittiwakes, Razorbills etc depending upon the time of year you visit.

Please note: The RSPCB will charge you an admission of £3.75 per adult if you enter through the visitor centre. However there is no requirement the pay this charge if you enter through the gate on the left hand side of the Visitor centre "Signed Deliveries" or via the path that leads down from the overflow car park

Clue 2 At N 54 09.042, W 000 10.253 You are now at ------- Nab. How many 'A"s in total. This will be (B)

Clue 3 At N 54 09.094, W 000 10.455 Count the number of names (Christian & Surnames) on the bench. This number X 2 will be (C).

Clue 4 Proceed north to N 54 09.128, W 000 10.736 (Jubilee Corner) On the sign on the fence. What is the first number after the STD code (01262) D51179 This number will be (D).

The cache is located at N 54 08.(D)(A)1 W000 10.(B)(D)(C)

The cache is a small plastic container containing the usual log book and trinklets.

If you're not a member of the RSPB then why not join while you are there. Although it is an RSPB nature reserve it is open to everyone. The cache clues take you north along the cliff. However if you want to see the more of the bird colonies then take a walk south as well.
