This forgotten footpath was once a very defined thorofare for teenage foot traffic, approximately 35 years ago when I was a kid. I used this path countless times, to travel to and from Dover into Tanglewood and Birchwood villages.
It saddened me to see this great path all overgrown and forgotten, so I decided to put a geocache back here!! Hopefully I can bring some new foot traffic back here, and maybe open this trail back up.
(I approached from the Mekeel Drive side when I placed the cache, so I don't know how passable it is from the Oak Street side. **I do know that the Oak Street side is a Rockaway Township right-of-way. This IS public property!!)
The cache is a Bison Tube with a log only, so please bring your own writing instrument!!!
