International Geocaching Day 2016

In 2011, it was announced that the third Saturday of August will be International Geocaching Day. Let's celebrate the 6th year of this auspicious occasion!

In celebration international geocaching day, come out and enjoy some geo-fellowship at

Yellow River State Forest on August 20th, 2016 from 2:00pm - 3:00pm.

Please post a "will attend" to get an accurate headcount if you plan to attend.

This event is open to all geocachers and their families, no matter how long you have been caching. A special invitation is extended to all newbies and also to visiting out of area geocachers.

HQ Duck Dash: A Global Trackable Race

In honor of the 15th anniversary of trackables, Groundspeak is hosting a worldwide trackable race. You’re invited to enter!

The race will begin July 20, 2016 at 12:01am PST and end on August 20, 2016 at 11:59pm PST.
