Waimea Canyon Trail Cache, Kauai, Hawaii. This cache is just a few miles before the Waimea Canyon lookout along the hiking trails. Amazing views!
Max's Treasure was originally named Wedding Bells because it was placed during our trip to Hawaii for a wedding for close friends of ours.
Original cache contents: Log book, black ink pen, Scooby Doo stickers, Harry Potter glow-in-the-dark pen and horse stickers.
There was also a Where's George? dollar bill. It was picked up on Jan 14, 2002. You can track it here
Try this cache. You will love the view. Take lots of pictures. Don't forget to drive up to the canyon vistor's center before or after. Please be careful how you park. This area can be dangerous at times especially during/after rain. Use caution!
Make sure you close the container properly, as this area gets lots of rain. Thanks and enjoy the hunt!
