Tree
NOTE: I have been informed that the shoe tree is no
longer there! But the cache is!
I love shoe trees! I find them amazing and always wonder who
started the tradition and who placed the shoes there.
I discovered this tree when I was zipping on by to go look for a
few caches. It was dark by the time I came back, so the picture is
a little dark. I'll have to return sometime during daylight
hours.
The cache is across the road from the tree. I didn't want to put it
right by the tree. There is a good parking spot near the cache. I
couldn't find my little pens, so I couldn't put one in the cache.
You will have to bring your own.
Have fun. Add some shoes if you have an extra pair with you!
