Cherokee Hieroglyphic Virtual Cache

This cache has been archived.

CacheHord(e): This virtual cache leads to a yellow starburst painted on the mountain by some maintenance person who was cleaning their brush. The painted trail markings have been renewed, but the starburst has not. It has faded to become almost invisible.

It was a good run, though.

Geocache Description:

An unusual marking in an old Cherokee area.

I found this old, man-made mark in this area on a geocaching hike. There are many other markings of the same color around here, but this one is unusual since it's very different from all the rest. The terrain is pretty steep here but it is on a popular trail. You should be able to find it with just the GPS or the hint.

To get your smiley, be sure to describe the marking completely. It's pretty obvious what it looks like. It's a simple design. E-mail the answer to me, don't post it here even if encrypted.
