About this Series

I'm Beachie, Fly Me... is a series of 19 puzzle caches hidden in or near neighbouring towns and villages, themed around international air travel. Each cache represents a virtual flight to its destination, no actual travel is involved other than to the physical cache for each puzzle, all of which are located within two miles of their published coordinates.

Your ultimate task to complete the series is to obtain access to the First Class Lounge, where you can luxuriate and sip virtual champagne with your fellow passengers. (or to put it another way, find the final bonus cache) information needed to locate the 'lounge' is found in each of the nineteen puzzle caches - more information on this is on the appropriate cache page.

The series has been designed such that you can complete the puzzle elements at home, before heading out to find the physical caches, the First Class Lounge excepted (as the required elements are in the other caches)

The puzzles are not meant to bemuse and are deliberately pitched with variety in mind, both in terms of the difficulty range and the puzzles themselves, this is to hopefully allow as many cachers as possible to enjoy at least some of the series. Even if you don't consider yourself a puzzle solver, we'd urge you to have a go. For your information, the order the caches are listed on the departure board below represents, in our opinion, the approximate difficulty level, with the easiest first.

Each puzzle has a checker to verify your coordinates (although in some cases you'll know when you have it), and each checker contains a clue to one of the other puzzles (hopefully one you haven't already solved) although all can be solved using only what's on the cache page.

With the exception of the bonus, we have not designed for the caches to be done in any specific order. Dip in and do one or a few at a time or all in one go as you wish, although that will take some route planning! Parking is available near most caches and suggested waypoints are in the checkers.

The caches themselves are various shapes and sizes. Some are our signature brand of custom container, others are more standard for purely practical hiding reasons. We'd politely ask you not to post spoilers of any kind, so as not to spoil the experience for the next cacher. Thank you.

Good luck and Bon Voyage!

Dedication

This series is dedicated with love to Mr Beach_hut's much-missed Grandpa, who sadly passed away whilst this series was being put together. Grandpa Beach_hut travelled internationally a considerable amount in his professional life, (not to mention for pleasure too), and regaled his grandson with many tales of trips abroad, and showed him slides of some of these voyages on the projector when Mr BH was a small child. It was this enthusiasm for travelling that was instilled in Mr Beach_hut at a young age, and in part inspired this series. He will be sorely missed.
