A series of drive by/ride/hike caches placed on our favourite route through the Trough of Bowland and over Lythe Fell back to the South Lakes. As we have been unable to walk to any caches due to an injury to one of the Badger Team we have had to rely on Drive by type caches. Therefore, in recognition of the enjoyment these caches have provided us,we have placed a number of caches so that others can enjoy our favourite drive with a chance to pursue the Geocaching ethos.
The containers are a mixture of camouflaged micro caches with a few ‘small’ containers thrown in. All are placed within a short walk from sensible parking and all with a decent Viewpoint and non are too difficult. The series could be done as a cycle ride ( for the energetic/fit) but we have to admit it would be a heck of a hike.
