N49.06.008 N121038.440 coordinates will take you 26.6 km past the
Vedder Bridge, along Chilliwack Lake Rd. You should now be at a
yellow gate. Park your car and enjoy a short but beautiful hike.
The cache is at the following coordinates N49 06.309 W121 38.632.
If you cross over the foot bridge, you've gone to far. After
finding the cache please continue on to these amazing caves (make
sure to bring a flashlight). The Chipmunk Caves have a chain of
small entrances. You will have to bend low at the entrance and then
the cave opens up and you can walk further in (about 40 feet).
Unfortunately The bigger caves across the river(2 hr hike) are
closed to the public right now, due to vandalism. One of those
caves is the Iron Curtain cave, (I have included a picture taken
inside of this cave) This limestone solution cave has an under
ground stream, is rich in delicate speleothems and is one of the
most beautifully decorated caves in Canada. It is also the most
significant cave known in the lower mainland region. The cache is a
1.1 litre lock-in-lock container with numerous trade items. I have
included 2 gift certificates 1 for FTF and also for 2nd to find. So
