NOTE from June 7, 2022: the cache IS there! Use the hint and look one bush to the East.
To the south of this cache location is what was the Tonopah & Goldfield (T&G) railroad yard, from about 1910 to 1947. Walk up the road to the east a short distance, and you'll be able to look down on the remains of the turntable (the big cement-lined hole) for steam locomotives. Behind that was an 8-stall roundhouse. Hard to believe today!
You will also note a red caboose undergoing restoration. This belongs to the cache owners.
The cache, an ammo box, is located alongside a public road. The caboose, turntable, roundhouse, and other T&G remnants are on private property. Cache contains area travel brochures and other 'goodies' dropped by cachers.
--> Addendum June 2022: a couple of cachers have indicated they felt intimidated by the access to, and signage around this cache. So let me reiterate: approach this cache from the south or east, NOT from the west - to protect our neighbor's privacy.
