This is our first Cache so I hope it’s not too easy or hard. I know at a minimum it’s a nice walk and the park is a really nice place to hang out. Let me know what you think.
This area is about 125.6 acres of recreational fields, playgrounds, trails, and forest
This Description of the area was stolen from the Ghiloni Nature Trail Marlboro State Forest Brochure (Prepared by Nicole Halper and Molly Pawlika).
The State forest portion is predominately coniferous stands of white and red pines. The area also contains steep slopes draining into beautiful wetlands. This parcel plays an important role in Marlborough’s natural landscape by acting as a wildlife corridor. There are several other protected open space parcels in this section of the city, and the State Forest serves as a link, which is important for wildlife movement between parcels.
