2016 SLAGA Fall Picnic Event Cache

Once again it is time for the SLAGA Fall Picnic! This year we will be gathering at St. Louis County's McDonnell Park at the LINDBERGH Picnic Shelter McDonnell Park is located in Northwest St. Louis County at 2961 Adie Road in St. Ann, MO. Take Lindbergh to Adie, turn East. Travel 0.3 miles to Park entrance. Take loop around and turn right on the back road.

McDonnell Park is named after James S. McDonnell, the late founder of McDonnell Douglas Aircraft. This 133 acre park has 2 large pavilions, 2 playgrounds and a nice paved walking and fitness trail. The pavilion and trail are wheelchair accessible and the park is dog friendly.

Please join us for games, pot luck and BBQ, fellowship, announcement of the new SLAGA Board of Directors (who officially take over at this event), and of course--- caching!

DETAILS:

SLAGA will be supplying water, hot dogs, brats, hamburgers and buns along with condiments, plates, napkins, and utensils. We ask that you bring a side dish or other food to share and your drinks. The prices will be as follows:

• SLAGA Premium Member Adults $5.00
• Non-Premium Member Adults $7.00
• Kids 5-12 $3.00
• Kids 4 and under free

Please post your "Will Attend" log as soon as you can with the number of people attending, your preference of meat and how many you'd like. This allows us to order what we need without buying too much. Please list what dish you will be bringing as well.

We will be having a 50-50 drawing (you must be present to win), Geo Bingo, Silent Auction, the Ammo Can Toss, Closest to the Pin contest, and new, Geo poker run, as well as numerous attendance prizes.

SCHEDULE OF EVENTS:

• 9:30 a.m. - Set up.
• 10:30 a.m. - Registration begins.
• 1:00 p.m. - Lunch begins.
• 3:00 p.m. - Silent Auction bidding ends and all games close.
• 3:30 p.m. - General announcements and business, Milestone Awards, Silent Auction and 50-50 winners, all game winners, and Premium Membership drawing.

MILESTONES:

We will be making our Fall Milestone awards to all those SLAGA premium members, so let us know your achievements since the spring picnic. Go to our website, www.slaga.org, and register for your award of 100, 500, 1,000, 5,000, 10,000 or 25,000 finds.
