black gold Traditional Geocache
caretaker5: today I was passing right by to pick up some caching supplies, and it was a nice weather day so I stopped to take a look around here. I could not find it where it was supposed to be, or anywhere in the area. in fact the area itself has drastically changed by a limb falling out of the tree. it may still be there buried but I didn't see it. it also was uniquely camouflaged and I do not have the necessary item to make a replacement. I also have no plans for this site so anyone who may wish to use it should consider it free and clear. thanks to all who hunted and enjoyed.

at this location you will be looking for an appropriately camouflaged peanut butter jar. it has room for small trades, and i'll look and see what I have to get it started. it's location is not to far off the road, and most of the way is a nice service drive. while daylight hours are not a requirement here, I would suggest them to keep suspicion at a minimum.
I had talked about the camo for this cache with my seasonal help bobberbug. he had never heard about geocaching until we worked together. I got him signed up, and finding some caches, and he even talked about a hide he wanted to do. it was very close to this, and at a spot just like this on some property his family owned. ultimately he decided on a slightly different take of this theme. unfortunately he must have lost interest. he was seasonal help, and he left that part time job for a full time one elsewhere. we still talk from time to time, but he always has something coming up that keeps him from caching. I kept waiting for him to tell me he got the hide done and out, but I never got that call. I thought it was such a good idea, and I had gathered some material to put this cachetainer together. then just the other day I found the perfect location for it to live.
