Geocache Description:

These multi-cache path (offset cache with 6 stages) is distributed between the bigger new Park of Mestre (S.Giuliano) and the Venice Lagoon. [It is included in a Geocaching School Camp]

ESSENTIAL NOTE: the cache is located on water, in the middle of the Lagoon. The final stage is accessible only if you have a canoa, a boat, a motorboat, a ship (?), or similar. You cannot use public boat to reach the cache. HINT: reaching the final stage, you’ll pass near or through the area of a Rowing Club: "Sport Group Voga Veneta Mestre (visit link) If you want to try, you may contact the Club by calling at least one week prior to your search, asking if they could accompany you with a boat in the Lagoon. They are very cordial and helpful, and can give you the opportunity to try, for a short time, the experience of the Venetian rowing in the lagoon. Remember that if the Club agree to accompany you in the search, their service is not for business, but a gift they will gladly offer you. It’s not a usual Club, it’s like a great family, and if you want to thank for the help, it might be nice if you reciprocate with some simple product of your land or your culture.

ADDITIONAL NOTE: this cache has three other sisters, very similar but with different stages and final caches. They form a Geocaching School Camp, for different teams of students searching in the same area, with the same difficulties. If you are an expert geocacher, choose only one of them.

And now, start the search.
You have to reach the Red Gate of San Giuliano Park, in Mestre, by car (there is lots of parking), by feet, by bycicle, or by bus from Venice or from the centre of Mestre (visit link) ). The coordinates of the starting point are: N 45° 28,515 E 012° 16,094.
Please note the figure on the flooring representing a star: how many points (X) has this star?

1st stage:
To reach the second stage, you have to read the Park Memorial Plaque and note the number (Y) of the official inaugural day (open to the people).

2nd stage:
To reach the third stage, you have to note the number (Z) of bars of the automatic barriers systems for the car flow.

3rd stage:
To reach the fourth stage, you have to note the number (W) of steps you take to go up and down of the terrace, with the help of two steel handrails.

4th stage:
To reach the fifth stage, you have to read the timetable board. The value of K is 1 if you find the text “fermata 8/12”, it is 2 if you find “fermata 8/13”, or it is 3 if you find “fermata 8/14”.

5th stage:
And now, to reach the final stage with the cache, you need a boat, or other special mean of transport.

6th and final stage:
You’ll arrive at a group of ex-trees.
