Geocache Description:

This is a three part multi-cache. The caches are within easy walking distance.

Part One is the Cherokee National Capital. What date was the Capitol was built? The cache coordinates are for the Capitol.

Part Two is the Cherokee Supreme Court Building This building was erected in 1844 to house the Cherokee Supreme Court and the Tahlequah District Court. From 1870-1905 it was used as printing office for the Chrerokee Advocate, the official newspaper of the Cherokee Nation. The building was severly damaged by a fire, in 1875 which destroyed the newspaper offices and printing press, and was later restored to its present condition. The coordinates for the Court are N 35 54.707, W 094 58.220

Part Three is the Cherokee Nationl Jail. Email the cost to build the jail. The coordinates for the Jail are N 35 54.643, W 094 58.253
