This is a medium sized camouflaged container hidden at the Aspen Grove picnic grounds. The campground and picnic area are closed during the winter.
While not quite on the Lewis and Clark trail, this area makes a nice stop on any trip following the trail. Not far away is Alice Creek and the Lewis&Clark pass where some of the expedition crossed the Continental Divide.
We placed this within the picnic area near the Blackfoot River. It is a pretty spot to stop for a snack as you pass through the area.
NOTE: Make sure to sign the cache logbook, as online "Found It" logs without a corresponding entry in the logbook will be deleted. We wouldn't want any "cheaters" now would we.
