This cache commemorates a home that my husband and I built on this road in 1972 and the wonderful times that we had while living there. Being a city girl, when my husband told me that he wanted to buy two acres of woods from Claude Ellis and build a house, I thought that I would never be able to find my house if we lived there...but rural living has transformed me!
We have since moved elsewhere in the area and we are also very happy here, but it is nostalgic to drive by the "old" house once in awhile!
This geocache is a quick rural C&D that is in a relaxed environment. While you are there, head over to the Mason-Dixon Line just a very short distance down the same road! Enjoy!
