Søgne - Vaskeplassen

Navnet "vaskeplassen" (50m øst for boksen) kommer av at folk fra Høllen og Ny Hellesund frem til 1950 tallet rodde til denne plassen og vasket tøy i Kvernhusvannet. Dette var helst om sommeren da vannet i brønnene minket.
Når dere først er her vil jeg anbefale en tur rundt Kvernhusvannet, (3,3km) som er en veldig populær turløype i Søgne.

N58 04.650 E007 51.240, eller ca 300m forbi avkjørselen til Åros camping, N58 04.477 E007 49.814.

The name ”vaskeplassen” (50 m east of the box) originates from the fact that people from Høllen and Ny-Hellesund used to wash their laundry in Kvernhusvannet.
I recomend a walk round Kvernhusvannet. This is a popular track in Søgne (3.3 km).
You can park at the parkinglot by the church at Langenes, N58 04.650 E007 51.240, or approximately 300m past the turn-off to Åros Camping, N58 04.477 E007 49.814.
