Geocache Description:

I placed this cache to try and add some variety to the caches in this area. I do not recommend it for small children since the stages follow along a creek and takes you for a long walk in the dark. You are looking for an ammo can.

The coordinates listed above will bring you to the first stage of this multi. I ask that you park at the suggested parking and walk along the sidewalk to your objective. You will not have to enter the Hilton’s parking area to find it, and parking here could also attract attention if you walk around to the first stage.

Each stage will have the instructions/coordinates you will need to find the next stage. This is a four stage multi, including the final cache location. Flashlights will be required for this cache and I suggest following all instructions. Stage 2 can be in one of three locations, but if you follow the instructions at Stage 1, you should have no problem choosing the correct location.

Please be mindful that this cache follows Joe’s Branch and you should be aware of your surroundings. Snakes, spiders, and possibly alligators could be found while searching for this cache. I have travelled the length of this cache trail quite a few times and have not seen anything but spiders, but once the weather warms up, extra precautions should be taken.  There is a tunnel you will have to walk through that is generally deeper on the south side (the side you start from). Upon placing this cache, Stage 2 was in a location that was about ankle deep.

You will need a flashlight, but a headlamp may be better. Water shoes will also be needed if you want to keep your feet dry. For scoping and placing this cache, I wore those big black rubber boots and in certain locations the water came within a couple inches from the top
