There have been a number of events organised for Leap Day but so far nothing over this side of Melbourne at lunch time. So here is one for those that midnight, mid-morning or dinner time isn't a suitable time.
Come and meet some fellow geocachers, swap some stories and trackables and earn your Leap Day Souvenir. Make sure you bring your GPS or similar device with you, as you may need it for a couple of surprises during the event and of course when you go caching after it's all over at the park.
The plan is rather simple...gather around the picnic tables at the nominated co-ordinates from 12:30, make friends, swap stories, enjoy your BYO lunch, sign the log sheet so you go in the FTF draw at 1:00 and then go about the rest of your day. For the unlucky ones that will be "back to work" but for the rest of us it will be time to hunt some caches.
