Geocache Description:

Note: the cache is not hidden at the coordinates above. Solve the easy puzzle below.

One of twenty-three caches hidden in various towns across Masachusetts. Find them all to get the coordinates to the "Green Monster - Final" cache.

Each cache in the Green Monster series contains one or two "monster numbers" prefixed with "N" or "W". To determine the coordinates for the "Green Monster - Final" cache, add up all of the "N" numbers and "W" numbers.

For example:
Cache A - N +20° 10.000
Cache B - N +20° 02.000
Cache C - N +02° 00.300
Final lat   - N 42° 12.300

Please keep a record of the monster numbers you find in the Green Monster caches.

Consult the Green Monster bookmark list for all of the caches in this series.

One Week Headstart
In the interest of fairness, the owners of the Green Monster geocaches will wait one week after the caches are initially published to begin seeking them.

Solve the mystery below to find this cache.

--------------------------------------------------------------

Recently, I set out to explore a nice tract of land in north Wayland. I was trying to find a good spot to place a cache for this series.

Near the parking lot I found a small bundle containing three odd looking sheets of unknown material that held the coordinates to treasure belonging to the Green Monster of Wayland. How did I know this, you ask? There was a post-it on the top sheet that said, "Coords to treasure" and there was also a cable bill in the bundle, addressed to "Green Monster" at a Wayland mailing address.

After scrutinizing the odd little green sheets (shown below) for some time, I uncovered their secrets, and took the short but scenic walk to the monster's stash.

The smaller, direct trail out to the cache can be very wet and muddy during the spring. The wider path which skirts the meadow to the left will be drier.

There is also a letterbox that I discovered accidently near the Green Monster's stash and a few examples of "bad parking" Wayland-style.
