Bricks Traditional Geocache

A cache placed in the Kingsview Shopping Center to commemorate a brick we are all familiar with. The cache is hidden in one of these brick and blends into its surroundings quite nicely. When re-hiding the cache, please place it exactly how you found it or better for concealment and waterproofing. As always, be stealthy and good luck!

Here are a couple facts about the brick:

• The brick is Danish for “play well”.
• It's design was patented on 28 January 1958 and all manufactured since have been produced to the exact same measurements as this patent.
• On average, there are 86 of these bricks for every 1 person on the planet and counting.
• In 2012, 45.7 billion bricks were produced at a rate of 5.2 million per hour.
• Laid end to end, the number of bricks sold in 2012 would stretch round the world more than 18 times.
• To reach the moon you would need to build a column of around 40 billion bricks.
• The world's largest tower contains over 500,000 bricks.
• The largest commercially produced building made from these bricks is the Taj Majal.
