Geocache Description:

This cache is to help memorialize one of the most amazing men Ive ever met, my great grandfather Larry "Coach" Witzke.

When I was younger, I always remembered my great grandpa, Coach. He used to tell his kids, grand kids, and great grand kids all different stories about his life - His favorite being how he lost half of his index finger. He told us that he used to put salt and pepper on it, and one day he sucked it clean off. I just learned recently that he really lost it as a kid playing football.
Another TRUE story he told was one day, while cruising down in Georgia, he got pulled over for going 80 mph, when he was about 80 years old. The cop ended up letting him go because he found it so funny.

Coach was very well loved by everyone, and a very hard worker. He worked at Appleton High School as a gym teacher until he was 75 years old (which is how he got the nickname "Coach"), leaving there in 1972. Soon after he worked at the Appleton Rec Dept until he was 90. All the while, he had a side job at Lambeau field in the press box as a gofer for the other teams owners.
When he retired from the Rec dept, they decided to name a road after him.. Witzke Blvd. Thats where this cache is.

It's a micro, pretty easy to find. I hope you all liked hearing about one of the greats, Good luck!
