CITO Week is 9/17-9/25. To encourage keeping our planet clean, Groundspeak has released a souvenir available to anyone participating in a CITO event during this week.
What is a CITO?
CITO stands for Cache In, Trash Out. It is a unique event that is designed to promote keeping our Earth clean.
When and where?
At the posted coordinates (Pilcher) from 10AM-11:15am on 9/17/2016. We are hoping to have a group picture at 10:15. A raffle immediately following, and then get to work! There is lots of caching in park! There is also lots of trash to clean up!
What should I expect?
Show up at the posted coordinates on the date and time listed above, and be prepared to clean up trash. Trash bags will be provided. Please bring your own grabbers, or gloves that you would prefer. This park has both paved trails, grass trails, and off-trail terrain. There is PLENTY of trash abound for all. Feel free to stick to the paths, or venture off-trail if you feel comfortable. There is a small stream in the park, please keep your eye on your kids near the water.
Anything else?
Bring water, wear comfortable shoes (or boots), and bring bug spray.
