Please join me and my awesome co-hosts at the 4th annual matinee (this year on a Saturday) version of the Geocaching International Film Festival. Enjoy a viewing of the geocaching film finalists that were chosen for their creativity, production quality, and contribution to the global geocaching community. After signing the logbook and grabbing some popcorn, we will take a group photo and start watching the films. We will have ballots for an informal, fun voting on the films and a raffle as well.

What is GIFF Weekend?
GIFF Weekend is your chance to watch the entire reel of the finalist films from the 2018 Geocaching International Film Festival. On the weekend of November 8-12 only, geocachers will host geocaching events at which these films will be shown publicly for the first time.
Where is this event?
St. Matthew United Church of Christ
1420 S. Gables Blvd.
Wheaton, IL
The easiest route is to take Gables Rd. south from Roosevelt Rd. until you come to a dead end. Turn left and you will see the church. There is plenty of parking and the entrance is on the west side of the building. There is a circle turnaround on the north side of the building for the north side handicap entrance.
When is it? Important!!! Note day change from previous years.

No, the event is on a Saturday this year.
How long is the GIFF 2018 film reel?
The entire film reel is approximately one hour long.
Are these films family-friendly?
Absolutely. Kids are welcome.
Are there caches to find nearby?
Yes! pawprintlogic1 has placed a lot of great caches on the Prairie Path behind the church that are well maintained and a pleasant walk.
Will I earn a souvenir for attending a GIFF Weekend Event?
Groundspeak announced that a souvenir will be available for anyone who attends a GIFF event on GIFF Weekend.
