Signal the Frog® is traveling to different countries to geocache like a local. His second stop this year is Canada.
"As Signal continues to celebrate geocaching around the world, our favorite frog will be visiting Canada to cache like a Canadian and celebrate Canada’s 150th anniversary. As part of the celebration, you can earn the Canada Day 2017 souvenir by hosting or attending an event on Saturday July 1 or Sunday July 2, 2017. This souvenir is exclusive to Canada’s sesquicentennial (150th) anniversary (can you say that 10 times fast?), so the next time this souvenir will be released is in another 25 years for Canada’s dodransbicentennial anniversary! Alright, so that may not entirely be true, but we’re excited to celebrate with Canadians on their birthday this July, and we hope you’ll join us!" Join us as we celebrate Canada's 150th anniversary in Mammoth Lakes, CA. I will be here visiting for a few days and wanted to meet some new cachers and clean up a great park in the area. So come and hang out with other geocachers, swap stories, trade TB's and earn a Dönerstag souvenir, just by attending this event. I will provide trash bags and gloves. The event will be at Shady Rest Park from 8:30 to 9:30am.
