Geocache Description:

There used to be something interesting near by--but not too close.  Head west after the find to see where it used to be.

According to Wikipedia, a gargoyle is an architectural feature (a carved or formed "grotesque") with a spout to convey water from a roof and away from the side of a building.  However, Wikipedia also says that in common usage, gargoyle is used to describe any monstrous sculpture.

After finding this little guy, if you "go west young man" (to quote Horace Greeley who was quoting John Babsone Lane Soule), you used to be able to decide for yourself. Now you'll have to make do with the picture (since he/she/it is no longer there).  Was this a gargoyle or not?
