Geocache Description:

Do Not Try To Go To Coordintes Above! They are for Castle Pinckney, and interesting but irrelevant (to this puzzle) historical feature in Charleston Harbor. (I used this for the tourists who say "What's That?!?") Search for "Castle Pinckney" on Wikipedia and you can learn about it! You do not need a boat for this cache!

When I was young, my family often took long trips and I often ended up working on those puzzles in those Penny Press books. This is the first cache in a series that are inspired by those old puzzles.

This is a normal sudoku puzzle, although it is challenging. The following instructions come from sudokudaily.com, and is here to help those Geocachers unfamiliar with sudoku.

"The objective of the game is to fill all the blank squares in a game with the correct numbers. There are three very simple constraints to follow. In a 9 by 9 square Sudoku game:

•Every row of 9 numbers must include all digits 1 through 9 in any order
•Every column of 9 numbers must include all digits 1 through 9 in any order
•Every 3 by 3 subsection of the 9 by 9 square must include all digits 1 through 9"

My puzzle is different only in that some of the numbers in the puzzle correspond with digits in the cache's coordinates. You will complete the sudoku puzzle as normal, and then go back and figure out which number corresponds with which letter in the coordinate given below:

N AB CD.EFG
W PQ RS.0UV

Please remember that the number '0' is not used in sudoku, but it is in the West coordinates so I have given it to you. The puzzle grid is attached in the image below - you will want to print it!

Cache is in an area that can have high muggle traffic particularly during certain sporting events.

Cache contains a few various trinkets, and a travel bug that I have picked up and want to move on. FTF prize is an air horn that you can use to let the neighbors know you found the cache. Let her rip!!!

Please let me know how you liked the puzzle, and how long it took you to finish it. I may need to adjust the difficulty up or down. Also, cache is camoed!

Thanks for trying my cache!

Recently there has been some new issues with the image - not sure why and can't seem to resolve. Instead try this for the puzzle....
