Pilning Plod 4 - Scouting around Traditional Geocache

This cache forms part of the Pilning Plod series.  A walk around Pilning Village to expierence a brief glimpse of village life and to enjoy a few caches along the way!.

Near to this cache is the Mafeking Hall which is the Head Quarters of the 1st Severn Beach Scout group.  The group first registered with the scout association on the 18th December 1954 originally in Church Road Severn Beach, but then in approx 1977 moved into their current home Mafeking Hall, which has recently undergone refurbishments.  This is a thriving scout group including, Beavers, Cubs, Scouts and Explorers.
