Geocache Description:

From Pensacola, proceed west on Sorrento Road to Baur Road (CR 293). Turn north on Baur Road and travel 2.2 miles to the Tarkiln Bayou State Park entrance. Park at entrance and proceed to trailhead.

This adventure will take you through nearly level Pine flatwoods and scattered hardwood wetlands. To find the cache, follow the trail, which roughly conforms to the "jeep trails" on the quad map. You should not have to leave the trail until you are within 100' of the cache site. Some areas of the trail may be flooded, but all have alternate paths around the water. Be prepared for biting flies and mosquitoes in the summertime. This is a long walk, but the views are worth it. Bring drinking water!!! Cache is a water tight container mounted flush with the ground. No digging required.
