Around the Night Garden is another Night Cache is the Ashburton Domain.
Unlike the other night cache in the domain which was a nice simple stroll and markers easy to spot this one is a little bit trickier and markers are harder to spot/find.
While placing this cache we found some white reflector tacks which are for who knows what? Possibly a previously archived night cache possibly something else. If you find these they are not the ones you are following. You are following a mix of orange and red tacks around. (Only clue that you will get)
You will have to do some really good searching, High, Low, In Between and sometimes obscure. And some you may even have to be nearly on your knees to spot.
Also The tacks are not always visible from the previous one so you will have to use a little bit of intuition and extremely good eyes as you slowly wander along to find the next Tack, Because if you miss a tack you won't know where to find the next one.
When you find the double tacks stand at its location and "Tack". The start is identified by a double tack but do not "Tack" at this one only from there after.
Understanding "Tack" is extremely important to know what to do when you reach the double tack, and then it will be up to you to decide from there, but take the wrong option and you will find yourself back tracking and trying again.
This one could take up to an hour or two of your time due to the spread nature of the tacks and the choices you make and options you decide.
When you Reach the triple tacks in a triangle this is not quite the Final but is an indicator that the final is within 50m, Start the search as there is no more tacks apart from the ones on the cache location tree
The final location tree is identified by 3 tacks, 2 red and one silver in a vertical line.
Final cache is a 300ml screw top container contains logbook and pen and swaps.
