Geocache Description:

Take a nice easy walk along the Pitt River in Port Coquitlam.  Watch carefully on both sides of the dyke for various types of birds.  Osprey, ducks and even swans can be seen at times.  I put the terrain as 3.5 due to the rocky drop.  There is parking available near the start of the dyke.

The cache is a small lock and lock with a logbook and pencil.  A few small tradable items are included as well.  Please leave the pencil sharpener to sharpen the pencil.  I placed this cache here in memory of my Brother who was taken from us too early.  Pitt Lake and Polder were one of his favourite places to go birding, so I place the cache overlooking the lake where he would be able to watch for birds.  Take a look and see if you can identify one of the birds flying by.  Maybe it might start an interest in a new hobby. Congrats to 32fordroadster and The Stainless Steel Rat for sharing the FTF!
