Geocache Description:

Den första svenska hopptävlingen arrangerades vid Ryttarstadion ett stenkast från huvudstadens centralaste delar och granne med Stadion och K1. Året var 1896 och hästtävlingar var en angelägenhet för män och militärer.

Ett par år senare red dressyrryttarna in på banan. Sedan dess har de årliga tävlingarna varierat i karaktär och varit värd för såväl dressyrens som hoppningens SM och banorna runt Ryttarstadion bar som bekant även VM-ekipage när framridningen var placerad här 1990.
