Be sure to visit the beautiful New England village nearby.
While this MAY be available in Winter, it would require digging in snow and could easily be frozen in.
Don't be too put off by the terrain difficulty. The cache is right by the road but requires some scrambling.
This cache has had a rough history. First it got buried when a neighbor did some regrading and we had to use probes to find it. We dug it out and relocated it on the other side of the road. Then it went downstream with the flooding from tropical storm Irene. Luckily a farmer found it on the stream bank and called us. So this is still the original ammo box from 2003! Still watertight!
