Geocache Description:

Welcome to Belle Isle's 48 Crayola Crayon caches for 2011!
From 1949 until 1957 a box 48 Crayola Crayons were boxed with the colors we used for this years cache names. We have used numbers and colors for the cache names this year. The numbers will help you navigate the island, follow in order and there will be no reason to have to double back some of the one way roads on the island. The colors are just for fun… but watch some will help with the cache find.

This is a letterbox cache so please DO NOT take the rubber stamp or the ink pad from the cache!

Frankie the frog needs to get back to his lily pad, if you help him you will be rewarded with a cache prize. It will not be hard, just guide him along the shore to find his well hidden home that keeps him from the danger of island creatures. Frankie got sidetracked as he had spotted crowd after crowd hanging around a dark red rock, so he went to find out why they were there. This is how he got to the starting co-ords. As he looked past what looked like a building corner stone he could see that very near the dark red rock the people seemed to be going through a container and writing notes as they did. Now stuck on a wide flat slab, he did not know where his home was but he turned to the west and it seemed right, so off he went. He hopped to an odd looking fungus rock then to a large flat slab, then through some vine like hiding spot, then hopped from point to point along some pointed rocks sticking up. As he went along there was a kind of tree growing from the rocks and he hopped around it. Along the way he nearly hopped into a large cement hole, then over a cement barrel, an easy hop around a place where the island was caving in and onto another large flat slab. He hopped along past another small tree in the rocks, and then along a long tunnel of vines that kept his hops much shorter and it took some time to pass the area. Back on the rocks he came across an area that had all different kinds of iron tangled in the rock, carefully passing it. Then things started to look like home as he came onto a row of old brick cemented in a slab, then what look like old steps with small oval holes, then more cement with oval holes, he knew home was near. He is happy he had you by his side as he hopped along and reminded you he had a cache prize waiting at home. See a large block with one large and one small hole in it let him know he was home. You will find his house next to the one that makes "cents". His house is the one with the colorful outside. Follow Frankie deep into his home for your prize.
