Hua Shan



English:

Hua Shan is located in the Shaanxi Province, about 100 kilometres east of the city of Xi'an, near the city Huayin in China.
The mountain is one of China's Five Sacred Daoist Mountains, and has a long history of religious significance. The mountain has five main peaks, of which the tallest is the South Peak at 2160 m. At the pathes one meets cloisters, pagodas, temples, bridges and gates.

The way to the Cache:

The Cache is near "East Peak".
About the "Blue Dragon Ridge or "Heaven Ladder" one comes to "Golden Lock Pass". After this must be kept on the left. Walk in the direction of "East Peak" after a small bridge was crossed one would have to reach the coordinates.
Here you should see on the left from the way in the bushes a stoneformation, look here for the Cache.

Der Hua Shan liegt in der Shaanxi Province, rund 100 Km östlich von Xi'an, in der Nähe der Stadt Huayin in China.
Der Huà Shan ist eines der fünf heiligen Gebirge (Heilige Berge in China) in der Provinz Shaanxi in der Nähe der Kreisstadt Huayin der Volksrepublik China. Das Gebirge ist wegen seiner steilen, malerischen Felswände und seiner gefährlichen Steige auf die Gipfel berühmt. Mit mehreren Gipfeln bis 2100 m, die durch Bergpfade verbunden sind, bietet der Hua Shan eine einzigartige Wandermöglichkeit (schwindelfreies Gehen erforderlich), die seit Jahrhunderten wegen ihrer Naturschönheiten genutzt wird.
Auf den Wegen begegnet man Klöstern, Pagoden, Tempeln, Brücken und Toren.
Im alten chinesischen Weltbild, welches das Reich der Mitte als Quadrat betrachtete, verkörpert das Hua-Shan-Gebirge den westlichen Eckberg.

Weg zum Cache:

Der Cache befindet sich in der Nähe des "East Peak".
Über den "Blue Dragon Ridge oder die "Heaven Ladder" kommt man zum "Golden Lock Pass". Nach diesem muss sich links gehalten werden. Geht in Richtung "East Peak" nachdem eine kleine Brücke überquert wurde müsste man an den Koordinaten angekommen sein.
Hier solltet ihr links vom Weg im Gebüsch ein Steingebilde sehen, sucht hier nach dem Cache.
