The Boeing 747 is one of my favorite airplanes. Yes, the A380 is amazing and the 787 is high tech, but nothing beats the queen of the sky in terms of its style and how huge it feels. There is the hump of the upper deck behind the cockpit and the staircase leading up which makes it really feel like you are sitting someplace special. Ten years ago, Lufthansa was still flying the 747 between Singapore and Frankfurt without video screens in economy, but it was still a nice ride.
