I have never encountered any significant rain ☔️ at this time of year (other then the occasional sprinkle) but being an outdoor event the weather is sadly out of my control. Depending on the number of attendees there is a small covered space nearby if we need to get out of the rain'.
I am looking forward to meeting fellow geocachers; local and international. Please bring your travel bugs and coins to discover or to move onwards in their journey. I am happy to bring any TBs or GCs back with me to Canada if that will help in their quest.
I will be living out of a carry-on suitcase at a nearby hotel while in Vegas and do not have ready access to all the usual amenities but will do my best to bring some snacks or treats but please take care of your own liquid refreshments.
There is a small parking lot right behind the hotel but I suggest walking down the Las Vegas Strip or take the free Tram / Monorail that runs between the Mandalay Bay and Excalibur with a stop steps away from the event.
