To get to this cache requires a short hike and then a climb up the stairway to a veiwing area overlooking the spillway. The cache is a mint tin.
This cache is placed at the spillway viewing area of the new Harvey dam. The dam was completed in 2000 and water went over the spillway for the very first time yesterday. At the parking area is a playground for the kids, free barbecues and lots of grassy picnic areas. Have fun, pack a picnic and enjoy the free facilitys but please supervise small children as there is an unfenced river in the area and the cache is located on the wall, which is mostly unfenced and there is a big drop off.
