April 21st, 2018 - 0730 to 0830! Some of us Zombie cache hunters are coming to check out Baytown's Zombie Culture. We would love to meet some of the local Zombie Hunters to swap stories and trackables. A couple of neighborly cachers will be there since they can tell the zombies from the locals - most of the time. Please be aware that the temperature can be an issue one way or the other and with high humidity. Event is rain or shine, so come prepared. Special instructions for anyone attempting the nearby caches after the event: Machete, 6-8 bottles of water, first-aid kit, electrolyte replacement substances, hiking boots, & bug repellent! Nearby is a Borneo-like forest with over 3 miles of brutal bushwhacking' in the thickest meanest, most thorniest place in East Texas. You may consider visiting it or not. Thank you and happy geocaching! Oh yea, don't forget to live in the moment if you survive, that is.
Congrats to every zombie hunter!
Please remember the golden rule of geocaching - have a safe time and pick up a little trash!
Be careful exiting the road as cars tend to fly by the parking area.
Remember to hydrate in the Texas heat, or wrap up when its cold outside.
