Our first cache, located nice and close to home in a park at the bottom of a gentle descent. We have tried to keep it straightforward and functional with the intention of building up to bigger and better things, but suggestions are always welcome.
In a way, this cache pays homage to a couple of local caching identities who have inspired us since we began playing the game just a few months ago. Hopefully, they will know who they are. Firstly, we have employed a distinctive container (please twist it, don’t just pull it). Secondly, the cache is located at the site of an extraordinary piece of native flora which dominates the setting and which deserves to be a local landmark. The whole wider area of the GZ was completely under water during the floods of January 2011. The natural amphitheatre here became one huge swimming pool, and of course, it is likely to happen again, sooner or later. A nearby bike-track can be popular, and although there are houses nearby, you should be largely out of muggle view. Don't forget to walk 50m West and check out the creek too. Please take note of the specific location of the cache and try to replace it in the same spot and in the same manner, with some extra camo over the top if possible. There is room inside for a few small items, so you may like to bring something to swap. ***CONGRATULATIONS TO AMELIA AND CO ON BEING FTF!***
