Geocache Description:

A fun, unusual cache in a Mint Hill shopping area.  This is a revival of the original "Survivor of the Apocalypse" cache, with a twist.

PLEASE DO NOT DISASSEMBLE THE WALL.  THE CACHE IS NOT THERE!  Look around the guardrail and between the guardrail and wall.



The coordinates of the original cache are N 35° 10.555 W 080° 39.329. Due to the some proximity issues, I needed to "cheat" the coords a little for this cache. Once you are between the guardrail and the wall, put away your GPSr and start looking!

Why the name? I won the container at the "Apocalypse Now Flash Mob" while celebrating(?) the predicted end of the world on Dec. 21, 2012 by the Mayan Calendar.

Unfortunately, the cache broke... But now, it's even FUNNER! (if that's a word).

NOTE: There are TWO pieces to this cache... one retrieval tool, and the cache itself. One piece is NEAR the Guardrail (but not on), the other piece is NEAR the wall (but not in). Please do not disassemble the wall. THE CACHE IS NOT THERE!
